Katia Harb leaves Nunnery and Returns to Singing

Lebanese singer Katia Harb returns to singing after a six-year hiatus.

Harb told the Egyptian newspaper “Al-Dostour” that she served as a nun at the Theology Church in Lebanon during her absence from the music scene.

Harb had previously announced to many mass media that she had intended to become a nun before entering the music scene and that the circumstances had not favored her decision.

The singer is currently preparing a new album of religious songs, in addition to two singles, one in the Lebanese dialect and the other in Egyptian.

Harb is a graduate of the second season of “Star Academy”. Her last album was “Katia 2004”. The album featured 12 songs among which are “Sahr Oyouni “, “Taebt ” and “Ad Al Hob”.
